Nepali Congress president Sushil Koirala on Saturday received the chairmanship of the High Level Political Committee (HLPC) for a period of one month.
The Committee's chairmanship changes every month on a rotation basis among the four political parties represented in the Committee. It will be Koirala's second term as the chairman of the Committee.
Before Koirala, UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal headed the Committee completing his two terms as the Committee's chair.
